Hello Everyone. I hope you're all having a great day.
I'd like to share this wildlife drawing of an hyena laughing (Not that they really find anything funny, they just make a sound of laughter similar to humans). I decided to make this drawing after watching a bunch of hyena in the movie "The Lion King". I've had the opportunity to see hyenas and sincerely, I loved how muscular and strong they look, sadly they're wild and cannot be easily tamed even as pets. I did this piece to master detailing and fur drawing.
I used a black ball point pen and pelican paper for this drawing
Here are the steps involved;
I began by drawing the outline of hyena opening its mouth and stretching its tongues out. I also added its facial features in this stage.
Next, I began shading the dark areas on its skin and also started adding fur details.
To complete the drawing, I kept on adding details and building upon its fur texture until I got a satisfactory result.
Thank you for reading and viewing my drawing. Stay safe and enjoy the rest of your day.
