Most artists have some great plans for the year. I think it's better to makes some plans at the beginning of the year and work towards achieving these goals before the year runs out.
I have two are related goals I'll like to accomplish before the year runs out.
• MY SOLO ART EXHIBITION.
I've been working on this for some time now and I've decided to make it happen this year. The exhibition would be wildlife art exhibition and I'm getting some of my works ready. From my experience in the past, I know art exhibitions aren't easy to organize and are demanding financially. But I hope to give this my best shot and see it come to reality. So guys, stay tuned!!!
• ART MATERIAL SHOP.
I've been working towards this for a while now and it's almost a reality. I observed artists and others with related career around me don't have much access to shops with art materials. The closest art store to my home (with quality materials) is about about 15 miles away and is quite far and costly considering the cost of transport to and fro. Also, the distance has discouraged some people I've know who showed interest in art at some point. I hope to bring art closer to the people by having an art store around.
