Hello steemers, Today I wanted to have a little fun. I have been seeing the color challenge post and want to bring it to the #steemsilvergold community. The color for today was green and all i could think of is paper money馃. Everyone knows i'm an avid coin/bullion collector but i do collect select paper currency too.
This is a 1969 one dollar馃挼 star note with a really low serial number. It's in really nice shape and doesn't have any folds on it.
The price of this note is not very much above face value but, is a good example of our paper money馃挼 from the past. The design hasn't changed much in modern history. The biggest change came in the minting process, anti thief measures and inks.
