Hello steemers, Today i'm sharing a coin from my personal collection. The coin i want to show you is by far not perfect but it has some cool character. I really like the natural wear and tones on the surface of this Morgan dollar. What's really sweet too is that it's a Carson City minted Morgan dollar.
I picked this coin up at a coin show that used to come around every year. They stopped coming around but every few years when the Big coin show is at Our convention center, so i don't get these finds anymore. This 1883 Morgan is in around VF-20+ shape and was minted in Carson city.
This is my only CC Morgan because everyone knows the rarity of this coin in all shapes. On the front of this Morgan shows even wear across all the high spots, with small dings close to the rim.
The reverse is in the same shape with a little more wear on the eagles breast. I didn't over pay for this cc Morgan and want to have a real examples of cool historical coin.
The Carson city only minted 1,204,000 Morgans in 1883. It is a higher minted CC but still hard to find.
Hope you like my CC Morgan. Thanks for stopping by and viewing. I am a proud member of the #steemsilvergold and @ssg-community.
