Hello steemers, Today i have a beautiful Austrian bullion coin to show you. This bullion coin came from my personal collection for you to enjoy. I bought this coin the year after production when premiums went down. The Perth mint produced many different Kookaburra designs over the years but this one is my favorite. The Austrian Kookaburra has been produce since 1990 and has gain popularity over the years. This was the first Kookaburra i purchased due to it's 20 year anniversary.
Here's my 2009 Austrian Kookaburra. This Austrian bullion coin was minted at the Perth mint and displays on the reverse a Kookaburra perched on a tree branch. The 2009 version has a special mintmark P20 signifying the 20th year of the Kookaburra's existence. Mintage of this bullion coin is right at 300,000.
The obverse has a portrait of her majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination. This coin also came in a capsule from the mint to protect the mirror like fields.
