Hello my dear friends …
Here in this post, i want to share a beautiful place i just visited last week. Lately, i’ve been looking for place with good design. I just want to keep it as my reference if one day i decided to design one for myself. The more you see, the more you know. That is the reason why in the past few weeks, most of the time i will go to a place with a design that are not plain. At this point, the good drink and food just become a bonus for me because i enjoy the place more than anything. Well, i do enjoy the company of my beloved friends too, of course. I didnt know about this place before. I passed this place one day which was few months ago, when i want to play with my friends. At the time, the place is just opened and me and my friends already have plans to hang out in another place. So i took them as a bookmark. The look of it from the outside interest me a lot. This is also the type of place that will entice me to come. The name of the place is Grama Sphere. The reason why i want to share about this place is not only because of the beautiful design that they have but also because the philosophy of this cafe.
There’s this symbol in the front of the place just before the outdoor sitting area. Not only in the front, we can also see this logo in few other spot inside the Grama Sphere. Because the symbol is not usual, i was curious and try to look up at it online. What is the meaning behind the symbol and what it represents of? I think i will talk about it more when i show it in another picture but this logo if them is one of the reason why i’ ve decided to make this post.
Grama Sphere have two outdoor sitting area. One in the front and one in the back. The one that i showed you are the one in the front. I love that they put an all white concept for their table, sitting place, and even their umbrellas. It makes the whole place looks clean. Though I understand that this kind of design will need a lot maintenance or they will look super dirty. White is like that. It can give us the dirty and clean effect instantly.
This is their sitting area in their back. Its the same with the front sitting area which they have an all white design for them. I also like the light below which will on in the night time. It makes the whole vibe changed to be more intimate. Sadly, its quite raining the day i went there so i cant sit in the open even though i really want to.
They have few types of table style on the inside. Most of them are for two - four people in the table. Not for big groups. So i think if you come to this place with big groups, it will be wise you decide to sig outdoor. That also so the vibe on the inside can still be harmonized. I honestly doesnt like noisy cafe or coffee shop especially when its indoor. If its outdoor, its kinda fine by me because the noise is usually drown by the surroundings and the wind.
This is some of the decoration that they have on the inside. I like how simple yet nice they are. For the mirror itself, i think its what we can find in almost all new coffee shop here in Medan. They always have this big mirror so we can take pic of our outfit with our friends. Thats not really mine or my friends’ thing now maybe because of our age and such.
Last but not least, this is what i want to talk about in the beginning. This is the symbol of Grama Sphere. If we look closely, this symbol looks like a a turtle house/back right? Thats because its what the owner intended to make. The concept of being happy that you will live as long as the turtles. This is the 9 aspects of happiness related to the turtles, which is;
