Today I was trying to compare the progress in the current season versus the last season, and I could see that my performance is much better this time, which I will explain in this blog today. If I talk about the winning ratio, then it was in the range of 42% in the last season. However, in the current season, it is more than 48%, which I think is really great. Yesterday it was 50% also, but you know what? There is more competition on the battleground, so this number can fluctuate.
The season still has more than 5 days left, so I believe that in these 5 days I can try to increase my winning ratio even more. My target is to make it more than 50%, and if possible, I am also trying to make it around 55%. Let's see if that happens or not.
I am well aware that at the end of the season, generally I get to see a lot of competition on the battleground. That is the time when it is really difficult to win more battles, so obviously it will impact the winning percentages.
I have shared the snapshot from the last season, where I ended the season in the Diamond League, but my win rate was low. I ended the season ranked 323 with a rating of 3,140. If I talk about total battles, I played more than 300 battles, out of which my win count was 129, with a maximum streak of 22. Let's also talk about the current season, where I am ranked 295, with a rating of 3,040. I have played 251 battles so far, with 121 wins, and my streak count is just 6, but my winning percentage is 48.21%.
I know that I am doing better than last season, but I still feel there is more room for improvement, which I am even trying for. Let's see if it goes well because if it goes as per my plan and strategy, I should be ending the season in the Champions League. If not champion, then it should be at least Diamond 1. However, it is completely dependent upon the overall performance in the current season.
Now, while I am on the battleground and playing battles, nothing is in my control because sometimes when I try to do better, it just does not happen. Since it's a game, sometimes things can work in my favour, and sometimes they may not. It's fine because I understand it's a game and anything is possible.
