Great read. Where do lawsuits factor into this math? Surely there will be some expensive ones. Also, replacing the entire fleet of cars in 10 years is ridiculous. Tesla won't beat every car company out there anyways and they are no where close to it.
Lithium batteries, nuclear power plants and other infrastructure will be required for the charing capacity, building parking garages will have to be convertes. It will take decades to allow these cars to compete with taxis in some cities.
I'm a little skeptical of Tesla, they get too much subsidies and fanfare.
