Back After a Year!

Hello Crypto World!

Once again I am back! I think have told this phrase a couple of times already but as you can see I always can back, what can I say I love this place even when we have some drama. At this point for all of you who still remember my existence being around Hive/Leo, i would like to share my news, let you know why i was absent and also let you know of my new set of goals. Moreover, I think I am gonna ask some questions in case anyone is interested in enlightening me on things that I missed.

As some of you know by now I was in the Navy for 1 year doing my mandatory army service. Even though doing your Navy term isn’t that hard, I was on one of the worst bases so in a way it was a living nightmare. Not because of the training or something like that but because of the people. In terms of mindset, logic and skills the vast majority of the people I met were 200 years behind. There were some good ones ofc, that they wanted to move to another base but what can I say, life isn’t fair.

Most of my friends that did their mandatory services either in the ground forces or Navy, all told me 2 things they had in common. People with absolutely zero logic and a lot of free time. That meant for me that I would be patient and during my free time I will write/read posts in Hive/Leo and such. Little did I know, due to having a bachelor’s and excel knowledge I was appointed in a kind of supervisor position responsible for basically everything. That resulted in close to zero free time, 17-18 hours awake and 5-6 hours sleep per day. At least I can’t complain I wasn’t fighting like the guys in Ukraine….

New Beginning and Goals

Anyway, long story short during my last month there I had to search for a job because the mandatory service in Greece is like an obstacle we need to overcome in order to find a job and get hired. Most companies don’t want employees that will leave for 1 year. Somehow I managed to land the job I wanted to, which made me quite excited as I did not believe I would actually find any position with my experience. So I am currently working as an IT Recruiter for a company in Greece!

The pros are that I actually found the job I wanted to, I learn new things everyday and I also start building my working experience. Another awesome thing is that I actually work fully remote, which is freaking awesome for me as it would take around 1 and a half hours just to get in my work. So imagine 3 hours in total lost in trains and busses minus 30 euros per month for tickets. By car it would be 1 hour due to traffic and minus 300 euros per month due to the high cost of gas. So now I am basically chill, have these 3 hours for myself and ofc I enjoy my full salary! The only con is that I have a contract until November because I was actually hired before I finish with my army duties. Hopefully, it will get renewed!

Now that I explained everything to you let me say about my current goals. Hopefully, you kept reading! Now that pretty much have an idea of my work and I can allocate my time better, especially after working remotely I can spend some time per day or per some days in Hive/Leo like I used to do. My goal is to keep writing reviews about movies and series, some crypto-related posts, travel posts, and ofc some business-HR-related ones. Even though I want a career in HR I also want to make some decent money with crypto and make some of my ideas come to life or simply make my life better!

Crypto Chaos

To tell you the truth I have no idea what’s happening around cryptos but all I know is that the prices dropped a lot and thus my wallet shrunk quite a lot. The same applies to the NFTS as well. Both Hive and LEO are quite down as well. On the other hand, I don’t really mind as I’ve been there a couple of times thus I can’t say I am “afraid”. I also believe that maybe the Ukraine-Russia war along with the Energy crisis has something to do with that decline in prices but that’s my speculation. Also, it would be a question below for anyone that is paying close attention these months to answer.
