Well, trying to mention something that not everybody has seen, since action movies are very popular, I think I can mention Red Hill, it's really an Australian neo-western, but it's also an action movie.

A young police officer with a pregnant wife is relocated to a small town, where he hopes to find a quiet place for his family, but suddenly the vengeful Jimmy Conway, arrested for the murder of his own wife, escapes from prison, and the Sheriff, who knows Conway is coming to the town, instructs the cops and residents to kill Conway when they see him.
