Good article. I pretty much agree with everything you say, although I have my reservations about how the auteur theory is treated, and the overshadowing importance it gives to the director, I still think that sometimes the screenwriter or a combination of participants may have more importance in the story, each case evaluated separately. Of course, there are also directors who are themselves screenwriters and who control every aspect of the film, so on those occasions I can agree with the theory. But as always, that is an old discussion. Excellent publication, greetings.
