Like other types of insects the life cycle of a butterfly starts from the egg. The butterfly passes metamorphosis by passing through four stages, ie eggs, larvae, cocoons and eventually into adult butterflies.
Butterfly eggs are usually on the leaf surface, then the eggs hatch into a caterpillar. It will eat the leaves for days until finally he stops to pass through the cocoon.
At this stage the cocoon body will have wings, feet and heads. Until the perfect change butterflies will come out of the cocoon.
