2 weeks ago, the US federal government required companies with 100 employees or more to enforce wearing masks or proof of vaccination of their employees. But a few days ago a US court ordered the US government to suspend that requirement.

In the United States there is a federal law that requires medical information to be private...including vaccinations. So stores post signs up on their doors saying if you aren't vaccinated, please wear a mask, but they can't require it, because they can't ask, because it's private.

Here in the US, privacy is considered a First Amendment right in our Constitution, requiring vaccinations is going to take a long time here...but I think eventually public safety is going to take precedence. Vaccinations have been required for school children for decades.
