Outstanding post @galenkp. My wife and I went through a financially tumultuous time a few years back. We were hemorrhaging money, so we had to cut, cut and cut expenses to dig out of our hole. It was tough, and the fights, gee-gads! But now, its no big deal to live frugally. It's amazing what we can accomplish when we put our mind to it.
