Don't talk to strangers.

I receive spam texts with links on a regular basis. And one of the best rules of cybersecurity, don't click on links from people (or bots) you don't know. Because that could lead to malware being downloaded on your phone. When strangers reach out to you and ask you to do something (click on a link), it's usually for their benefit and not yours. So don't talk to strangers.

Look both ways when you cross the street.

When you're a kid, you look both ways when crossing the street to make sure you don't get hit by a car. Situational awareness is important when walking into new situations. Do your homework. Make sure you evaluate your environment before committing to a decision. Whether buying a car, entering into a business deal, taking prescription drugs, etc… Oh yeah, you should still look both ways when literally crossing the street 😁

Share.

Whether you're sharing time, a ladder, or good will towards another person, it makes people feel good. That you're giving value to them. And it implies a commonality, that y'all like the same thing. And that brings people together.

Be nice.

Tell your friend that you think they're awesome! Congratulate a coworker on a job well done. Tell your parents they did a good job raising you. Wish someone a great day on Steemit. Give your significant-other a hug and kiss. Being nice is contagious, and it makes the world a better place.

Say you’re sorry.

If you screwed up, say you're sorry, then fix it. Most of the time, people know that you screwed up. Apologizing for it goes a long way with people. And it lets them know that you have humility and you're the type of person that fixes mistakes, not gives it to others. Plus, taking ownership of your actions helps you solve your own problems faster.

Don’t take something that isn’t yours.

For crying out loud, don't steal. Someone worked very hard to attain that idea or thing you are taking from them. Working hard and obtaining ownership of something gives individuals value. And the higher the value people have, the better they feel, the better they treat others, which leads to a happier world.

Clean your room.

You should make sure that “your room” is in order before venturing out into the world. Put things back where you found them. Clean up your mess. Make sure everything is organized. This sets a psychological foundation of taking ownership of your own responsibilities. Knowing what you have, and how it’s used, makes it a lot easier to determine what else you need. You can use your resources more efficiently and you're more appreciative of what you have.

Stay frosty people. Thanks for reading.
