In this and following post I will lead you through the current pieces and artwork of Burundy currently displayed in the Museée Des Beaux-Arts Dijon.
Here you can see the map of Burgundy which is interesting to me because it covers parts of France,Netherlands(Amsterdam) and Germany(Cologne,Neuss). Underneath a painting showing an outdoor party at the the court of Burgundy dancing, playing music and dressed in white. The clothing style shows the fashion of 1410-1420 though the painting was most likely painted later in that century
The museum is filled with these renaissance paintings and every other one features virgin Mary with Jesus. More to follow tomorrow. Hope you enjoyed the post :)
