Since I am unlikely to live a long life, let alone a healthy one

You may surprise yourself. One of former presidents of Lithuania is already nealy 100 years old. And our favorite neighbor is 80. She is still alive despite having various illnesses. Besides universe should have some kind of balance perhaps? It allows some evil politicians to live and stay in power for a long time so maybe it will allow some normal/ decent people to live till 70-80+ as well.
