I have no idea. Part of the reason why I am still here is because I found Hive all those years ago so leaving would feel like an end of some very long phase...and quite a bit of a waste. And if I would find Hive now I would not have that attachment. So I guess it would heavily depend on how well my first few posts would do. If they would get big payouts that would be nice. But even bigger reason to stay would be if those posts would get a few nice and thoughtful comments at least. I keep posting on facebook for free because sometimes(rarely) someone comments on my posts. On Ko-fi I still post despite not getting comments because I still hope to eventually earn something there. On the other hand I made only one post on reddit. No one commented so I left. I can stay for hopes of getting something(either earnings or engagement) but if I don't get either I lose interest in that place. I would still probably create something if I was the only person on earth. But I prefer to have people who also appreciate and support my mad endeavours.
