Are you beholden to your phone, a slave to it and the AI fuckassery it provides?

I only use phone for calling someone or taking photos because I don't have a real camera. So I believe that I use phone much less than some people. But for some people phones are serious problem. Few days ago one of the best Euroleague coaches was very angry that his players were using phones before the game. His team lost that game...and went back to their phones right after that. I don't understand this. Those players get paid millions to play basketball. Yet they put more effort in scrolling their phones? WTF is going on...
