Debemos saber que una figura musical es el signo que determina la duración de las notas.
The Musical Figure:
We must know that a musical figure is the sign that determines the duration of the notes.

The round:
Esta figura musical conocida como redonda, tiene una duración de 4 tiempos (seguidos).
(El tiempo lo podemos medir con algo llamado metrónomo, chasqueando los dedos o haciendo sonidos que nos ayude a mantener un tiempo prolongado).
This musical figure known as round, has a duration of 4 beats (in a row).
(We can measure time with something called a metronome, snapping our fingers or making sounds that help us keep a long time).
The white one:
Esta figura musical conocida como blanca, abarca una duración de dos tiempos (seguidos).
This musical figure known as white, covers a duration of two beats (in a row).
The black
Esta figura musical llamada negra, tiene una duración de un tiempo dada su duración, es un mas rápida que las dos anteriores.
This musical figure called black, has a duration of time given its duration, it is faster than the previous two.
Eighth note:
Esta figura musical tiene en si una duración de medio tiempo, teniendo en ella una duración notablemente mas rápida que las anteriores.
This musical figure has in itself a duration of half time, having in it a noticeably faster duration than the previous ones.
Tenemos que tener en cuenta que las figuras musicales con una duración mas corta, se podría decir que son la mitad de la figura anterior ejemplo:
We have to take into account that the musical figures with a shorter duration, it could be said that they are half of the previous example figure:
Una blanca tiene la mitad de la duración de una redonda, la negra la mitad de la duración de una blanca etc.
A white one is half the duration of a round one, the black one is half the duration of a white one etc.
En resumen, de una redonda salen dos blancas, de dos blancas salen cuatro negras, de cuatro negras salen ocho corcheas etc.
In short, two whites come out of a whole note, four black notes come out of two white notes, eight eighth notes come out of four black notes, etc.
Al ejecutar un pentagrama debemos respetar los espacios de cada figura y de cada silencio me refiero que, en una blanca y una negra no las podemos ligar si no lo dice la partitura, la blanca se ejecuta completa en los dos tiempos que les corresponden, y la negra en su tiempo.
When executing a staff we must respect the spaces of each figure and of each rest. I mean that, in a half note and a quarter note we cannot link them if the score does not say so, the white note is executed completely in the two beats that correspond to them, and black in his time.
Musical Silences: Musical silences are those figures that represent musical pauses according to their musical figures.
No debemos olvidar esto, cada figura musical tiene su silencio musical así como hay cosas que nos hacen avanzar hay cosas que nos frenan así casi igual son las figuras.
We must not forget this, each musical figure has its musical silence, just as there are things that make us move forward, there are things that stop us, so the figures are almost the same.
La diferencia de los silencios es como lo dice el nombre, son silencios son esos espacios que completan los pentagramas.
The difference of the silences is as the name says, they are silences, they are those spaces that complete the staves.
