Side note: you don't have to place your fingers precisely like this; there are many ways to do so. And in fact, I encourage you to try different methods yourself so you can learn from the variations in the process.
For example, the chord A, instead of 2-3-4 you can use 1-2-3; and the chord will sound the same.
The advantages and disadvantages of each method will depend on many things: for instance, the chord that comes after that so is essential for you to get out there and find the one that suits you the best.
You have to take into account that for the chords to sound the right way, all the strings have to sound "clean," meaning each note should sound without any added noises. Put your fingers in the proper position and play each string one by one until it sounds flawless.
