Hive can be mined in any old PC.

And mined is the wrong word to call it. I prefer to call it signed since it is not a wasteful huge amount of guesses to find a valid signature. On Hive we just sign the block and that's it. No huge amount of wasted energy guessing numbers

I run HiveD in my old gaming PC for my 2 witnesses for the time being.

Although Hive developer @gtg said this is a terrible idea.

But that is all temporary as I intend on accumulating enough Hive to buy better servers as my personal income is not very high.

For the time being I am greateful for any feedback on my witness duties, such as my HBD Savings interest rate, that I believe to be adequate to maintain in the current 20% in both my witnesses.
