The Astros hung a 13-2 blowout on the A's, and one of the unlikely heroes of the night was Venezuelan second baseman José Altuve, who is putting the finishing touches on a forgettable campaign. Not only did he skip the WBC to pass up representing Venezuela, but he also put together the worst statistical season of his career.
