Rusks are dried-out pieces of... supposedly bread haha. Okay, a little history. Rusks were supposed to be dried-out pieces of bread that people in our country used in times of struggle. People dried out this bread, and dunked it in coffee or tea to rehydrate it. But today, the mix is much closer to cake, being sweet and filled with all kinds of additives (nuts, raisins, granola, etc.). I hope this all makes sense! Rusks are basically dried-out "cake/bread" that you rehydrate with your coffee, as a sort of breakfast or snack.
