The funny thing about the PhD and calling myself "dr." is that I actually do not want to. I am doing work in philosophical counselling and calling myself dr. will just create the wrong impression if I eventually open a practice. I can already see the normal conversation going: "No, I am not a clinical dr. I am a dr. in philosophy." haha.
