Existence is a gift we have been given, and with it comes the ability to reason. Without the need to establish IQ parameters, we all have the ability to understand and reflect on the world around us.
This capacity can be referred to as natural reason, a concept that is based on the uniqueness of our existence as human beings.
Through this natural reason, we can try to understand the actions of others, regardless of their nature, and thus establish a framework of logical awareness that allows us to recognize that, even if we do not always share the same ideas, it is essential to respect the rights of others.
From this perspective, we can accept that each individual has an inherent right to express and substantiate his or her thoughts and beliefs. Therefore, I have felt compelled to express myself from a philosophical approach, seeking to base my ideas on the simple fact of existing.
This natural state of being human allows us to fill our minds with everything that our interest allows us to appreciate. In this sense, we are, in essence, learners of life, and it is from this humility that I dare to affirm that we can all reflect and contribute to the dialogue.
In affirming that “we all can,” I do not intend this reflection to be lost in the limbo of abstract thought. Rather, I conceive it as a map drawn on a sheet of paper, where each idea is synthesized from the diversity of opinions and denials it may receive, depending on the context and the rational indoctrination of those who read it.
It is inevitable that some will accept the idea that everything is possible, while others will reject it. There will also be those who, disinterested, see this reflection as something almost logical, with no more value than the mere exercise of thought. It is prudent to recognize that this variety of reactions is part of human nature.
Philosophical thought and personal reflection are not limited to an end or to a ceiling where everything must be enclosed. Discernment is itself a manifestation of dissent. From this point of view, we allow ourselves to think for ourselves.
Dissent, while also a product of reflection, tends to be more prone to conformity, where we think along similar lines without a real desire to deepen our analysis.
However, the statement that “we all can” is a confirmation of the possibility of acting and flowing in life, regardless of the magnitude of our actions.
It is essential to be cautious in expressing ourselves from thought. This is the most accurate means to shape and establish a discourse that is devoid of prejudice, allowing us to express ourselves freely.
Freedom of thought is fundamental to avoid falling into the unreasonable and destructive, which often manifests itself in the form of hatred, jealousy or envy. By saying “here I am,” we affirm our existence and our identity.
If we were to disappear from the Earth, a disturbing question arises: who would count the years? The answer is clear: no one. This leads us to question why, if we value our existence so much, we do not accept others with their own philosophy and need to be.
It is essential that we are able to coexist without measuring or restraining the other. Understanding and freedom are essential for all of us to be who we really are.
In this sense, acceptance of the other and his right to exist and to think is a crucial step towards harmonious coexistence. We can all contribute to a world where respect and freedom are fundamental pillars.
Life is a shared journey, and each of us has a role to play in this journey. By opening ourselves to the diversity of thoughts and experiences, we enrich our own existence and that of those around us.
Natural reason invites us to be empathetic and to recognize that, although our perspectives may differ, we all have the right to be heard and to engage in dialogue.
