A sad day for me today. At midnight tonight, I will no longer be a European Citizen thanks to Brexit. For most people there won’t be much difference until the Transition Period ends at the end of the year, but for me (and other UK citizens in the EU) we lose some rights straight away. One of the most important is the right to vote in local elections (coming up in May this year). We are going to apply to be French citizens (not a simple or cheap process).
I was up at 7. Lit the fire, did some steeming (Curating, and my freewrite). Watched some politics stuff and a documentry whilst doing some felting and playing the guitar.
Just got back from walking the dogs
It is market day, so we’ll be taking a spin around the market. Later, as usual, I will be felting, practicing Spanish, French, German and my guitar later.
Here is a video of somethings I handmade (needle-felting) yesterday using vegetable fibres (Yes, they are vegan! No animal fibres used - I used flax and cotton):
