Dear brothers and sisters in Christ

I always keep in mind the words of the Apostle Paul who in his first letter to the Corinthians presented us with Faith, Hope and Love as the fundamental values of what our life as Christians should be, so he tells us:

And now faith, hope and love remain, these three; But the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:13)

Since our Faith is manifested in the certainty that having a triune and unique God from which all creatures have been created and for which our life is in their hands, even though we are in many cases unbelievers, as was Holy Tomas, a simple man, a friend of Jesus who, after his death and knowing that the rest of his companions had witnessed the Lord's resurrection, asked him to be granted the grace to be able to appreciate him personally as well. In the case of some of us, we often doubt our Faith, but the Lord is always patient and waiting for us to meet him.

One of the blessings that our Faith in the Lord gives us is the certainty of his promise that gives us Hope to go to meet him in the last days, going to have the manifestation of his light and purity.

Being important for our life the Faith and the Hope as the Apostle Paul tells us these would be incomplete if we do not have the Love, which is manifested in works towards our brothers and in particular to the most needy.

It is necessary to have a deep conversion, to give our hearts to Christ, to imitate his model, to pray and meditate daily on the word of God given in the Bible, to share with the brothers and to give love and help those most in need.

The Lord in his righteousness will give us the means to accomplish these things.

Amen

To end here I include the message that the Golden Censer has given me today, with a verse from the Matthew´s gospel:

Memo:

The foolish man builds his house upon the sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash. Matthew 7:26-27
