I've mentioned before how they're slowly killing League of Legends. But not according to them!
Half a day ago, a new edition of Ask Riot was published. Here's what they have to say about changes:
Has Riot ever considered retiring a character? Perhaps before full-scale reworks became common?
Retiring a champion would set a weird precedence where players would always be worried that the things they invested in would be taken away from them at some point, which isn’t something we want our players to worry about.
Really. So you have never killed anything in your game before. Is that what you're telling us? So many champions are dead. The only thing left from them is their name, inherited by someone else who will also end up dead eventually. Dominion was wiped off. Some players loved it and played nothing but. It's just another fairy tale now.
But you still have the nerve to come out and say you haven't removed anything and we shouldn't worry? That's ridiculous. It's like you're mocking us. Damnit. Btw I got the world pass for 10 bucks which got me a few skins I'll probably never use. Yay, go me. Just kidding, I'll make Cho'Gath and Vel'Koz highlights soon.
These guys are important to the growth of #gaming and steemit itself
