In Genesis 1, The Almighty God created the earth. He made plants, land and sea animals, the sun, moon, stars and all that - that we are all familiar with. But there is something we probably have not thought of. Something amazing that God did.
Genesis 2:5-6 [5]And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.[6]But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
God did not allow it to rain on all of his creation because there was no man yet. Firstly, this means God holds us in high esteem. It was not as if He could not the ground to be tilled. This is Someone who had just created elephants, whales and the Sun with the words of His mouth. But He refused to let the ground be tilled. He had to create man first.
The implication of this is that, not only does God see us as important. He can put things on hold until He finds a willing mind.
Yes. God has plans for us. But we have a role to play before those plans come to pass. He expects us to be ready to till and He does not mind holding down the blessings until we are ready.
Genesis 2:8,10 [8]And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.[10]And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
When Adam came along, God did not just send rain, He sent a river. A river with four heads. This counts as multiple blessings.
As long as you are willing to serve God, He is ready to release His blessings on you. Things might look as if they are on hold right now, nothing seems to be working and you find out you have been stagnant for long....
Search within, ask Him what He’d like you to do for Him. Be willing to give your all and you will find out that not only are the answers just around the corner… it comes with four heads!
