Jack Dorsey says now is our chance to build a global currency for the internet
트위터 공동창업자 Jack Dorsey 가 Quartz와의 인터뷰에서 인터넷을 위한 글로벌 통화로 비트코인을 적합한 후보로 꼽았습니다.
Q. Do you think bitcoin could be the internet’s currency?
A. I haven’t seen any other currency that would challenge it across the dimensions that I think are really important. First, I think it has an amazing brand. The other thing that I think makes it probably the strongest candidate is that the principles behind it are very pure.
The creation of it was very pure, and focused on a public good, rather than any other particular agenda. The fact that it’s meant to be deflationary, meant to incentivize savings instead of spending, I think is a net positive for the world and how we think about consuming.
새로운 글로벌코인을 만드는 것도 좋겠지만, 많이 쓰이고 인정받고 있는 비트코인을 잘 쓰는게 나을듯 합니다.

1년 전에 비해 거래량이 3배로 증가한 점, 비트코인 업그레이드로 기술의 상당한 발전이 있는 점 그리고 매력적인 가격을 이유로, 작년 초 첫 평가에서 'C+'로 시작했는데, 'B'까지 올라왔네요.
