This week, we went back to record another installment in the "Arkansas Bill" series. These most popular videos on my YouTube channel simply showcase the life of a dude who lives in rural Arkansas, a self-proclaimed Redneck.
Yet over the years, seeing him deal with severe illness and grief (losing his partner), viewers have really connected with the guy.
This time, Paul and I saw a side of him we hadn’t seen before.
In contrast to the previous two videos documenting difficult times in Bill’s life, Monday was highlighted with the lighthearted.
-Joking over lunch and talking sweet to the waitress
-Saying hello to his fellow townsfolk
-Showing us his work caring for a neighbor’s dogs
There was still plenty of real talk about health concerns and being lonely at times. But it was great to see such a spark from Bill ignite this day under the warm Arkansas sky.
