The Periphery Foundation is now a registered 501c3.
This is a big step, opening the door to collaborating with funding channels such as social media. Plus, it's just a cool thing to be able to say;)
Over the past year-and-a-half, we've gradually built this nonprofit to assist several families in need. To do so, we established a funding system of YouTube ad revenue going to the people/causes featured in each video.
In addition to the YouTube revenue, we've slowly built our assets to over $10k. With this, we're seeking further causes and stories to highlight and to address with effectiveness and prudence. Such issues close to hearts: homelessness, addiction, Native American support, and improvements in the inner-city.
If you know of an under-reported story or worthy cause, let me know. If you'd like to help with your time or resources or a donation, message me or go to https://www.theperiphery.org/ to learn more.
