Today I bring to you a colorful robot. At the beginning I drew only robots and sexy girls :)
Is a long time since my last post of this type of topic.
Process
As many times before in my other drawings, I started this drawing in the traditional way with a pen over the back of an old business card, then scanned and colorized digitally.
As usual, these are my steps for made this style of painting:
- The original drawing was made digitally in the software, with some sketch brushes, then applied a quick color in photoshop.
- Part of the process is about to apply the color layer by layer with some special brushes that imitate the oil paintings.
- I play with the photoshop layer styles, that offer different options to create the final piece.
- Apply some canvas texture over all the process.
