Dearly Beloved, As you go through life, please value these people...
People who recommended you to jobs, opportunities and helped open doors you couldn't have gone into. Especially when they do it freely without demanding anything.
People who have always been very honest with you in your dealings with them. Never exploiting or taking advantage of your ignorance.
People who never take advantage of you in your down moments. Always knowing that you're weak and as such understands that you're vulnerable and so helps protect your sanity and virtue.
People who have seen your worst sides yet sticks with you. Loving, admonishing, caring and helping you through life.
People who have always kept in confidence what you kept confidential with them. People who never open their mouths to say all sorts of things about you because you're not in good terms with them. People who respect you enough to still protect you even when you're not in good terms with them.
People who never mock you or your circumstances. They never laugh at your mistakes or shortcomings. They never join your mockers even jokingly.
People who push you to be better than you were before. People who inspire you. People who show you a model to follow, in words and in character.
People who introduce you to God and the true knowledge of Him. Not with the intention of bringing you under their influence but to let out your Spirit in true worship.
People who are bold to correct you when you are wrong and erring. Rather than spreading gossips about you and what you did wrong.
Many people will come into your life or pass through you. Some would leave you with memories, some will leave you with lessons to always remember. Some will leave you better, some will leave you battered, broken and frustrated. Some should be forgotten in a haste. Some you should always hold on to, not minding the distance.
Those very few you should hold on to... Never let them go. Don't insult or chase them away with your attitude and character.
More importantly, be that kind of person to someone.
