Today I'll be sharing with you from "Psalm 1"
So many things in this world is not free, you don't walk as you like, you don't do things as you like, they have rules, principles and conditions.
If you want to enter into any building you have to use the precise key to unlock the door and if you don't have the right key to that particular door you won't be able to enter into the building.
So now this passage talks about blessing and in addition to that, Blessing is indeed a good thing and what people are looking for.
Now the opposite of blessing is cause, If people are asked to choose one, majority will choose blessing and if anyone chooses cause that signifies that the person is insane and not a normal being.
Apart from choosing blessing or cause, this passage also talks about blessing, but, this blessing won't fall from the sky or come just like that.
According to this passage, there are certain conditions that attracts blessing. You must abstain from doing evil, killing, mockery, etc.
In this world, we have two kinds of people which are the good and bad ones, the doers of good and evil, people who keeps the law and people who corrupts the law.
Hence, among those two kind of people, anything you do the reward will come accordingly. If you do good, blessing will come and if you do bad cause will come, The choice is yours so choose one.
In continuation, this passage states what will happen to the good people and what will also happen to the bad people. The Bible says "Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockery, backbiters, killers etc.
Therefore, we must be careful with the kind and choice of friends we make and one of the things that will help us not to associate with bad people is the word of God. "David said in Psalm 119 vs 11 that Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee", If you know the word of God, it will deprive you from associating with bad and wrong people.
Joseph said in genesis chapter 39 verse 9, "How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?”. when potiphars wife insisted that Joseph should sleep with her, It was the word of God that helped Joseph to decline and overcome and he was promoted and blessed.
When you decide not to walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers the Bible says in verse 3 of Psalm 1 that That you will be like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither and whatever you do will prosper, for it shall be well with you.
Then, for the wicked and bad ones, verse 4 and 5 of Psalm 1 says: "Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away, Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous". They will perish, suffer, and the they won't enter into the kingdom of God.
IN SUMMARY:
God knows the way of the righteous, he watches over them, he protects them, he blesses and keeps them. And for the wicked one's, people who kills, destroy, For their ways will lead to destruction, it shall not be well with them.
Do you choose to be among the good one's, righteous ones, prosperous one?. OR you choose to be among the bad one's, evil doers, sinners, mockers, furnicators, backbiters, killers?
THE CHOICE IS DEFINITELY YOURS, SO CHOOSE ONE
