Hex is a total scam. Just because it's going up does not change this.
I simply ask the question is Wise much better then Bitconnect and Hex?
Maybe a little, but just because it's better than obvious Ponzi schemes, does not make it a good project. They are all useless scams.
Wise is HEX without 50% origin address and not 100% ETH to founder.
Here are some reasons why I think HEX is a scam (from their website):
HEX averages 40% APY, before USD appreciation, which further multiplies profit.
No legit project can give you a 40% APY. At least not in USD terms (it's easy to just create tokens).
HEX virtually lends value from stakers to non stakers, as staking reduces supply, causing positive price pressure on unstaked coins.
So those who stake coins receive money from those who don't. But why would anyone keep unstaked coins if they are losing money? It works only as long there are people buying it, so they could make money from other people buying it.
HEX's USD price went up 263x in 301 days. HEX is more secure, faster, cheaper, better for the environment, has more features and addresses a larger market than Bitcoin. So far, HEX's price went up 146x vs Bitcoin.
Any coins that are promoting their gains to get investors are most likely "get rich quick" schemes.
Cryptocurrencies are the highest appreciating asset class in the history of mankind. Bitcoin's price did 2,000,000x from $0.01 to $20,000 in 7 years. Ethereum did 10,633x from $0.15 to $1,595 in 2.5 years. Had you put in $1, you could have made millions, many did. It's Life-changing wealth. So far, HEX's price went up 146x vs Bitcoin, 93x vs Ethereum, and 263x vs USD. HEX changes lives.
Again, promising to get rich quick. Solid projects don't need this. Scams do.
HEX is suprisingly analogous to Bitcoin Yet HEX is faster, cheaper, safer, better for the environment, and more censorship resistant. It also has less negative externalities, is more price performative and has higher throughput. HEX can do 2000 transactions per second (TPS) using zksync.io.
As do any other ERC20 token.
Again, where does value come from? You can't just "print" new coins forever. It has no use-case, you can't build smart contracts on it (ETH), it's not a store of value (BTC)...
