Hello Steemians :)
艩marna gora is a inselbergin the north of the Ljubljansko polje.
It has two peaks: the lower 艩marna gora (669 m) and higher, Grmado (676 m).
Due to the location and the view has become a popular destination. From the mountains you can see mountains Triglav, Stol and Koro拧ka Obir; in the south, you can see Krim, Sne啪nik and Trdinov vrh and Gorjanci. The nearby hills are Golo brdo, To拧ko 膶elo, Ro啪nik, Ra拧ica and Polhograjski Dolomiti.
艩marna gora is a point on the Slovenian geological route, and beyond it is also a forest educational path.
The southern side of the mountain has trees such as downy oak (Quercus pubescens) and hop hornbeam (Ostrya carpinifolia), and the northern side is covered by a beech forest.
Peak of 艩marna Gora has been inhabited since prehistoric times.
Roman bracelet on the top of 艩marna gora and an archaeological site of Roman graves in 艩martno pod 艩marno goro leave the assumption that on it were the Romans, who were called Mons Cetius.
During the Turkish invasions at the end of the 15th century, a wall was built around the church on the top of the hill.
