Paban Chowdhury, Executive Chairman of Bageri said, "We want to make a contract for development recruitment in May to establish Indian economic zones. They seem more interested in Mongla and Mirsarai. He further said that his special interest is not yet seen in connection with Bheramara of Kushtia. Again, they will not establish economic zones, that is still not finalized.
Economic zones are being set up for three countries on the basis of government agreement with the government. Among them, the government had placed 1,54 acre in Mirsharai, 110 acres in Mongla and 460 acres of land in Bheramara in Kushtia for India. Japan's economic zone is in Araihazar of Narayanganj. The amount of land is 803 acres. On the other hand, the Chinese economic zone will be in Anwara of Chittagong, 783 acres of land.
Funding for the establishment of three regions of Japan and India in the economic zones of three countries is absolutely sure. Japan is giving Bangladesh $ 1.3 billion for this and India is paying a loan of 27.88 billion dollars for interest. On the other hand, China has promised to give $ 28 million loan, but it has not been finalized.
