I am favourstrings and today I bring to you all this amazing song cover by Chris Tomlin with the song title ( holy forever)..
There are songs you sing.
And then there are songs that sing you into worship.
"Holy Forever" by Chris Tomlin is that song for me.
I first heard it on a morning I felt so small. Life was loud, my problems felt bigger than me, and I needed to remember who God is.
Then the chorus hit:
“And the angels cry holy
All creatures bow holy
You are lifted high holy... holy forever”
In that moment I wasn’t in my room anymore. I saw it.
I saw Revelation 4 — the angels around the throne, the 24 elders, all of creation bowing.
If heaven can’t stop saying “Holy”, why should I?
If all creatures bow, my pride has to bow too.
That chorus became my reset button. Anytime anxiety rises, I sing it. Because worship lifts my eyes off my problem and onto the One who is lifted high forever.
But the part that broke me completely is the bridge:
“Your name is the highest
Your name is the Greatest
Your name stands above them all”
That line carried me through a season where nothing else made sense.
Job applications said “no”. Doors said “closed”. Fear said “you’re not enough”.
But God’s name said: “I am above it all.”
His name stands above sickness. Above lack. Above shame. Above every mountain.
When I couldn’t pray long prayers, I just whispered His name. Because His name is the highest.
That’s why I want to share my cover in
