One way believers request for God's help and communicate with Him is through prayer.
God pays attention to us when we pray because He cares about His children.
But, prayer should be done in the way directed by the scripture.
The scripture teaches us that when we pray, we should do it without pride but with thanksgiving and a humility.
We are not meant to impress others or show off when we pray.
Christ commanded that we should not pray only to be seen like the hypocrites.
Rather, prayer to God should be done sincerely and submissively.
We should with thanksgiving and supplication make our request known unto God, when we pray.
To pray genuinely is to pray with full trust in God's will, honesty and humility.
