The Bible did not focus on names.The names of Many important people in the bible were never mentioned, some of them include Peter’s wife and in-laws, Pharaoh’s daughter who saved Moses, or the daughters of Adam and Eve.
Even the names of those people who asked Aaron to carve the golden calf were not mentioned. We also learn as explained by the preacher that movies like The Ten Commandments add names and details not found in Scripture, this is very misleading to viewers.
Let us take for instance, the Bible in the book of Psalms 106:9–11 confirms that the death of Pharaoh occuered in the Red Sea, but what the movied showed was contrary to this .
So we were able to understand that the goal of the Bible is not to record every name but to reveal truth and in the message of God. the lesson is What matters most , not the identity of the people involved.
