I advise you to get a dictionary and look up the word significant. Think about how that word applies to you and your life. In doing that, you will find, at the least, the theme of your present path and, at the most, a clear idea of your contribution to the benefit of this world. Armed with this understanding, you can direct your activities into progress and growth and minimize the struggle between your mind and your emotions. Did you really get what was just said and how vitally important it is? As you direct your activities into progress and growth you will also minimize the struggle between your mind and your emotions. As you minimize the struggle between your mind and your emotions, you increase your states of joyful optimism and healthy well-being. Using your intuitive senses to assist in the decision-making process can be of great benefit. By tapping into your intuitive impressions and adding them to the physical senses and mental reasoning processes, more accurate decisions can be made The most important thing to learn, in using intuition, is the initial recognition that a perception has occurred. Something flashes into your mind. It could be a picture, or a face or name or the answer to a question you just asked. Being able to recognize and accept the very first impression that comes into your mind is the foundation for using an elaborate array of mental talents and abilities. So, towards the objective of teaching you how to recognize and utilize multisensory perceptions, I want to give you some exercises to do.
This exercise is called the walking visualization. In the following I’m going to give you some suggestions for impressions. Get ready to tune into you mental senses. Take a deep breath and relax. Immediately after having read the suggested scene, take the first impressions that enter your mind. Ok Are you ready? I hope the answer was yes because, here we go:
(1) Imagine that you are walking. Describe the area around you, especially directly ahead and directly behind and the surface you are walking on.
(2) You continue walking along and on the left, you come upon a house. Describe the house. One story? Two stories? Fenced? Well maintained?
(3) You continue walking past the house and, looking down, you find a key. What color is the key and what you do with it?
(4) You continue walking and you come to some water. Describe the water. How much water? - A river, stream, ocean, lake? What do you do there?
(5) You continue walking and come to a barrier across your path. Describe the barrier. How high is it? How far does it extend to the sides?
(6) There is a path to the right that parallels the barrier and you follow this path and come to a forest. Describe the forest. How tall are the trees? How close together?
According to universal symbolism, the impressions you have shown yourself have the following meaning:
Where you first pictured yourself walking is your overview of how your total self sees your life at the present time. How it looks behind you is your past and how it looks ahead is the way you see your future. If where you were walking was limited on the sides, by any obstruction, like buildings or trees, it represents the narrow or wide application of you life energies. The narrower the place you were walking, the narrower your ability to deviate from your present path is. The wider the expanse to the sides is, the more freedom you have to change the course of your life at the present time.
The house is how you see yourself. Was the house well maintained? If one story, then you have a no-nonsense grounding in the material world. If two stories, you have added active intuition to reason. If three stories, you have a firm grasp on the inspirational realm, where all is begun.
The key represents knowledge. What did you do with the key? If your key was silver colored, it indicates you are more inclined to retain things you hear. If golden colored, you prefer the written word. Speech is silver, silence is golden is the old phrase.
The water represents sex and your attitudes about it. It does not represent your sex life. It only represents your overview of your attitudes about sex. So….what did you do with the water? How you acted with the water is directly connected to your holistic attitude towards sex in your life.
The barrier is death. If your blockage was so high and wide you couldn’t see over it, it indicates that you do not have a clear idea of what happens to you after you die. As an aside, one of the main sources of low-grade anxiety, which is a sense of being unsafe, is caused by an uncertainty of the after death experience. By defining a continuation you can believe in, will markedly lower your unconscious feelings of danger.
The forest is the overview of your personal need to accomplish. The taller the trees and the closer together they grow, the more important your whole self thinks the events and conditions in you life of the present are.
This is an objective, symbolic view of your total self. It is also an excellent training for taking the first impression that comes to mind.
