So here I am doing exactly what I said i wouldn't, writing a blog on Steemit. See i have been away. far away and ventured into distant waters. Think of me as captain Janeway in Star Trek Voyager or Dorothy in the land of oz. except they had a no choice and i have been able to tap my ruby Steem slippers anytime.
Good question!
call it fate, call a new year thing, truth is I don't know why myself. I have been swimming with the whales and they led me astray. Although we had a great time along the way, the promised land was never really there. What I mean by that is, although I have not been active here, I have been active on Whaleshares and had a really great time there too.
I built up a niche and got to know some great people. My contests were some of the best on the site and even had the highest giveaway throwout the platform too. I had created a second account just to manage the contests so it was not to overcast my personal blogs and everything was going great. **But then it happened...
The last hard fork had completely destroyed the whole premise that I had built up my contests for and left me with no creditable way of running contests while growing myself. So I stopped. Then I realized that personal blogs were not working either because due to the new tipping system, I was tipping what I was earning and therefore my account was stale. Nothing smells as bad as a stale whale. Anyways fast forward several months and a mental breakdown later i have decided to just sit here at my desk and post a blog into the void of my old stomping ground here on Steemit and see if i cannot reconnect with people. Hopefully, they can shine a light in my direction and i will surely follow it home.
