Once you finally get to that place.
After long last you finally got what you worked so hard for, for so long.
The things you had given up to reach your goals.
Ties that have been broken, money having been spent.
You reached your peak, your mountain top and all that you thought it would be once you got to this point...
just doesn't seem... like it was what you had expected at all...
Like it hasn't hit you yet.
Or somehow it feels like if you're not working towards something you are out of place, like one is so used to the hustle that it feels unnatural to rest.
We all know the saying " life is a journey" yet all our goals are set destinations.
It reminded me of John Lennon that said :-
“When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.”
Life is about the journey, but its measured by its destinations. Its measured by things of value, rather than our values.
Society teaches us to be the biggest and fastest, but what do we do for the smaller and slower ones?
Somehow in everything, we are supposed to show the world, what makes us different, what sets us apart.
But none of us wants to be alone in life. We are always the contradictions , is it what makes us human?
Is it human behavior that causes us to look from point A and plan to get to Point B ?
If so, The journey between those points is the best par of the human experience.
Set the destination, but knowing what you are made of , is defined by the journey to getting there.
Until Next Time...
