As December hit, my energy levels felt like it was depleted.
As much as the year felt like it was done, so did I.
The struggle continued and got even worse when the schools closed as I would be even more lazy to get up as I knew there would be less traffic to drive to work.
As people in my office started saying goodbye until next year, the flame within me, seems to grow smaller every day, so did my frustration, as I did not want to feel this way , but still here that feeling was/is.
Could this be called festive fatigue?
Given, I will not be taking off this period and haven't had leave for over a year,
Whilst planning a wedding and just having signed a bond agreement, I know that life it also taking its toll on me.
My mind knows that I have to keep pushing for the next 3-4 months as that will be when the dust has settled, hopefully. My body however wants to know nothing of it.
Will working out help? I have a really fast metabolism and do not really wish to lose weight as it forces me to shop in the children's section of departments stores.
Sooner or later somethings gonna give, and it sure as hell wont be my spirit!
I'm totally open to suggestions at this time, what I have been doing is a ton of music, and surrounding myself with people that are focused and driven to keep my own fire burning. Another thing I have found it that I do have a lot less patience for peoples negativity as to me it feels like a weight that slows me down.
This should not be confused with a cry for help or constructive criticism, but for those that have nothing good to say and yet still says something, those that feel they are above others because they put people down.
Until Next Time ... Lets all keep the fire burning!
