Its funny how we are all driven by our emotions,
The negative ones, stopping us, sometimes for our safety,
Sometimes because of our fears.
When we are happy are so much more driven, like happiness and drive is some sort of addiction.
When we are sad,or hurt, sometimes we want to wallow in that darkness, but in all honesty no one wants to be unhappy.
So why do we do it? Why do we give up as if we are not those that are deserving of happiness.
We do, but sometimes we look for the love we need outside of who we are, as that is all we know.
We look to social media to validate who we are... We care about what others think of us, but have little to no regard of what we think of ourselves.
This could have a myriad of implications.
Sometimes we say no in our heads, but in our actions we are saying yes.
Sometimes we forgive someone for disrespecting us, even though we know that they will continue to do so tomorrow.
The little injustices we do to ourselves, because we do not put self love or self worth as a priority is a death sentence to our souls and who we truly are.
We all want the most for our kids that we would break ourselves for their happiness...
Is that the cost? Is the cost of their love so high that we would give our all and burn out in front of them rather than to gradually suffer until we can give them what they need without hurting ourselves?
Are you children more important than your marriage?
Is your marriage more important than you?
If are you unhappy as a person, that would affect your marriage and your kids.
If you only look after your kids, you spouse will feel neglected.
So does it not make sense to take time out for yourself?
To act for yourself?
You may be a great deal of things, like being a Parent, a child,a sibling,a career person ect, but to the core you are a human.
You are you, to yourself in your mind , a space that no one but you knows.
If you do yourself a disservice would that not ripple effect into all the other responsibilities you have taken on?
Every moment is a moment to act on those emotions, do we accept that comfort zone of negativity?
Do we leap of that comfort zone, despite of that fear?
I know that it all sounds great saying. and that doing it is a whole different ball game.
If you are not doing it for yourself. Then you cant really , truly be doing it for others.
if that's the case , what are we doing?
Lets Act! Lets take a step forward for no one other than ourselves.
That way we can grow and give to others what we truly want. As we will be able to afford it.
Until Next time...
(I do not profess to know everything or anything for that matter)
