whats up everybody?
I trust that everyone in Western Canada and the US are as tired of smoke as I am, likely folks on the left coast are even more tired of it than me. But I digress.
Tonight, Im showing a ring that I got in a market in Puno Peru.
It features the Nazca lines on a spinning centre. I think I paid a crispy $20 US note for it, which I feel is fair.
When I was at Nazca, I rented a Cesna and flew over the area to see the lines. Its almost a religious experience seeing them. Its simply impossible to fully explain how and why they exist. I mean until the area was mapped from a plane, no one k ew they existed! You literally have to be a few hundred feet up to even see them!
Each of the marks are a representation of some of the more famous lines.

This ring is far more valuable than the silver its made from to me. Jewelry may not be the cheapest way to stack (except mene is pretty good) in North America, but in Peru, jewelry gets sold by the gram in most shops.
Can't wait to go back the Equador and Peru, Im such a nerd for archeology. And to get more wearable silver!
