A friend and I got together with the metal detectors today. The temporary orders means that we had to take separate vehicles and keep distant. But it was still a good day all around.
So we drove out to the lake and worked the beach.
This is the only sort of "interesting" find.
Its an old cigarette lighter. Heres the gear today, Garrett Ace 300i amd my chinese pinpointer.
Didnt really find anyhing, so we decided to go to the RM grazing lands and see if we could find an old 1800's homestead. I was hoping to find a rock foundation, but after several hours and miles of hiking and detecting, no luck, I found shotgun shells, and thats about it.
So heres some scenery, instead of treasures.
