Sometimes, you just need to take your best gal and hit the spa.
So we piled into the fat-elvis-mobile, and headed to Watrous SK. To the Manitou Springs spa and resort.
So it is a salt Lake, they call it the Dead Sea of Canada
The pool and spa has 3 different heat level areas, and is non-chlorinated lake water. The water is only filtered to take the brine shrimp out. Nothing else lives in the water, it's nearly brackish.
So I couldn't take pics very well, between the steam inside and the snowstorm outside, so I ripped these off from Trip Advisor.
Anyways. If you are ever in the area, give Manitou Springs a try.
